Membership benefits
Vlerick Alumni wants to assist its alumni in making progress on a personal level, within their companies and within society by means of professional networking and lifelong learning. To make this happen, we developed a wide range of member benefits, featuring events, services & commercial discounts.
> EVENTS:
Vlerick Alumni organizes over 70 events on a yearly basis, free for members or with an important discount. We have for type of events: corporate events, section events, chapter events & class reunions. Please check out the events calendar with our most recent events on this link.

Under the umbrella of Vlerick Alumni, dozens of events are organized on an annual basis by the sections (alumni clubs linked to the specific management programmes).

Internationalization is today an important theme for Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and its alumni association. In 2009 the School attracts students from the whole world. The activities of Vlerick Alumni outside Belgium are called “chapter events”.

> SERVICES
1. Free members’ directory: The Vlerick Alumni members’ directory is the networking bible and a unique benefit enjoyed by paying members. 97 percent of our members have the book within reach at work; 70 percent say they look up data in it on a regular basis.
2. Free alumni magazine: All paying members of Vlerick Alumni receive the members' magazine, called Connect. There are two versions: a local Belgian one in Dutch ("Connect") and an international one in English ("Connect International").
3. Website: state-of-the art networking site with search matrix for the alumni database, events calendar, "alumni in press" overview, etc.
4. Career services: on our website you can find a selection of vacancies for which you can apply and you can post a “call for job”. Furthermore, you also have the opportunity to announce the vacancies or you own company.
5. Free meeting space: For your meetings, brainstorming sessions, workshops, seminars and other events, you can make use of the meeting rooms of Vlerick Alumni at the Ghent campus. Our meeting spaces are equipped with every possible facility (flip chart, wireless internet, beamer, etc.).
6. Free access to the Vlerick library: The library of Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School possesses a collection of 11,000 books and 135 magazines. Moreover, the databases offer access to a rich source of information when consulted at the library.
