Vlerick Leuven Gent Alumni VZW is a non-profit organization that represents the interests and participation of every member. The Board of Directors is the driving force behind this collective effort, which is reflected in the association’s statutes. A staff of professionals is in charge of the daily activities, supported by a large network of volunteers that operate within sections and international chapters.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors elects the chairman and establishes directives that guide the association. Board members convene three times a year. All alumni are represented on the board by a delegate from their section or international chapter. Moreover, Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School is represented by its dean, the chairman of the board and a professor.

Sections (Alumni Clubs)
The sections represent the alumni who have attended certain courses or certain types of courses on Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School. These sections elect their own chairman and, in cooperation with the Vlerick Alumni staff, annually organise several events for their specific target audience. All these sections are represented in the Board of Directors.
International chapters
International chapters are formal associations of Vlerick alumni residing in a country or region other than Belgium and representing the alumni in that area. A chapter is chaired by a liaison officer. The International Chapters are also represented in the Board of Directors.
